Have your books, flyers and posters printed on stencilmachines! What makes stencilprint stand out is the total absorbtion of ink on rough paper.
It is not expensive and easy to use. It is also very different from modern printing techniques.
Stencilmachines
Stencilmachines are the ultimate printing machines: easy to use, no cleaning, variations and alterations while printing and cheap production of reasonable amounts. Knust started the print workshop by re-inventing the old stencilmachine and taking stenciling beyond what was thought to be technically possible. The introduction of the digital machine in the workshop made the production much higher.
Make your own book
We have everything in house for book and zine making. Our workshop is set for do-it-yourself production. There's no real need to be a skilled graphic artist. Books in small (or not so small) amounts can be made for prices per book usually thought possible in an industrial production process. The bookbinding workshop doesn't require much knowledge in bookbinding either, just some time and patience.
Print specs
An important part of the quality lies in the pre-press handling. This is very different from what you know. In digital printing and books on demand less and less human interference is required. In traditional printing quality depended on the skill of the craftsman. In stencilprinting it is still good prepress (based on human vision) and personal controlling of the machines which makes it stand out. As stencilprinting is very different from modern printing techniques, it is important you read the specs (below). Not that it is complicated. The digital machine can be used with computer- or traditional lay-out, and is therefore accessible for anyone.
