In 1998 Fred Armisen went to Austin, Texas, for the South by Southwest Indie Music Festival. Posing as a college radio staffer, deaf magazine interviewer, a German journalist, and some other characters, Fred interviews bands and music industry workers such as Butch Vig, Siouxsie Sioux, Jeanne Garafalo, Pavement, a booking agent for the Knitting Factory and more. Watch as the guests begin to question "Who is this man?" and Fred tries to get them to make-out, with each other.
