Streifenjunko is een akoestisch improvisatie duo met een eigen geluiden-wereld. Het duo is afkomstig uit de Noorse improvisatie-scene, en is duidelijk beïnvloed door Europese componisten als Giacinto Scelsi. Binnenkort komt hun eerste album uit. Recent verscheen al wel een cd waarop ze samenwerkten met de bekende Japanse gitarist Tetuzi Akiyama. Ook werkten ze samen met Sidsel Endresen en Christian Wallumrød en deden ze een uitgebreide tour door Azië, Europa en Zuid-Afrika.
Streifenjunko is an acoustic improvising duo with its own world of sounds on the Norwegian improv scene, clearly influenced by European contemporary composers like Giacinto Scelsi and others. They are preparing the release of their first album.
However, a recent collaboration with reknown Japanese guitarist Tetuzi Akiyama already resulted in the release of "Varianter av døde traer" on the label Sofa. They've also collaborated with Sidsel Endresen and Christian Wallumrød, and in addition Streifenjunko has toured extensively in Asia, Europe and South Africa.

Fickle combineert blaasinstrumenten met pure zang. Geen liedjes, maar eerder een organische manier om geluid te verkennen. Alsof een puzzel in elkaar gelegd wordt door een koppig en eigenwijs kind. Fickle is jong en ambitieus, en zorgt voor aangename verrassingen.
Fickle works with seemingly random successions of sheets, combined with vocals of a basic nature. Or is this thing a song? Rather a way of exploring if one can be organic in this time and day, and a puzzle pieced together by a very stubborn and seemingly dysfunctional child. Needless to say, Fickle is young and ambitious.
